Come Sunday Premier

It was a fun night in Hollywood as I got to attend the premier of the new Netflix film I am in, Come Sunday. I was able to see many of the folks that I worked with on the shoot and then enjoy this great film that is based on the real life of a preacher from Tulsa, OK, that was featured on a This American Life piece years ago. The film was 7 years in the making and turned out great!

Special screening of the Netflix film Come Sunday at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles on April 9, 2018 in West Hollywood, California.

Star Wars: The Related Ones

My Showfriends comedy troop is at it again this week as we launched our newest comedy spoof just in time for the release of the new Star Wars:The Last Jedi film. This short made it to the front page of Funny or Die and is a funny take on the life of some lesser known siblings of some famous Star Wars characters. It was another fun one to write and shoot. Watch it, share it, mark it as funny and help it go viral!

Unsolved on USA

This week I got to experience something that only really happens when you have been doing this acting thing for a while. I worked with a famous actor for a second time in my career on a different project. This week I played another lawyer in the new USA show coming out in 2018 called Unsolved. It is based on the Tupac and Biggie Smalls murders and stars Josh Duhamel. Josh and I actually worked together years ago when he was on the NBC show Las Vegas and it was fun to see him again and work together. I hear the show is looking great and can’t wait to see the finished product!

Dead Women Walking

I worked on this cool new show on Black Pills last week. What a great group of people and I’m excited to see how it turns out! Black Pills is a new digital short form content site that you access through mobile devices and is spearheaded by the uber successful Luc Besson. Don’t worry, I wasn’t really stuck in jail! Just played a lawyer helping a death row inmate.

Hope Dances Premier!

This weekend I got to fly up to Santa Cruz for the premier of the film, Hope Dances. It was such a fun time shooting the film and it was great to reunite with the cast and crew to view the finished product. Very happy to hear that the film got picked up for international distribution in theatres around the world and also will have a VOD release here in the states. It premieres here in the US on June 6 and will be available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon as well as DVDs in Walmarts across the country. So, please go check it out and to help the sales of it, buy a DVD if you can and also go and give it a great rating on iTunes or Amazon. Any of those things help it stay visible on the sites for longer. Thanks!

New Headshots!

I thought it might be time to spice things up a little, so I went ahead and got some new headshots done. I went to this great guy named Daniel Scherl who took some awesome pics. You can see many of his shots throughout my website.

Shooting a new Netflix Feature: Come Sunday

I got to start off the year in a great way by flying out to Atlanta to work for a few days on a new Netflix feature called “Come Sunday”. It was great because I got to work for the second time across from Oscar nominated actors, this time it was with Chewitel Ejiofor from “12 Years a Slave” and “The Martian”. It was fun time and I look forward to seeing the film when it comes out!
